The whole project covers and overlooks a central space that is an element of distribution, public space, and a representative place for the entire intervention. A large arcaded square connects the three buildings dedicated to trade, leisure and residence – which is developed in the first two tower buildings along the axis of the channel and placed at the western edge of the object of the intervention, in continuity with the existing built environment. The element of the entrance, common to all buildings, is the porch and constitutes the unifying perspective of all the three elevations that face the large public space.
In the frontal views of the square it measures with his presence the public space defined laterally by the perspective scenes of the adjacent buildings. The other characterizing element of the intervention is the tower building of the residence, which is integrated to the plate that hosts an average sales and catering structure, becoming the main characteristic element of the intervention as an urban sign: A new kind of “Landmark” of the complex . The architecture uses simple elements that give a simple image of lightness and clarity.
