RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX VANTINI
The project provides a resolution of the urban void between Italia Street and the new residential settlement, near the old town. The project aims to transform a small ex industrial area into a new building with a strong identity, that can have a dialogue with the context.
The building is composed by two indipendent volumes: a horizontal element, that host units with patio, and a tower of 7 floors, hosting 36 apartments.
The rigorous fronts alternate solids and voids. Modularity and rhythm of the partitions play a fundamental role and are really characterizing. The complex results balanced and lightweight, despite the large dimensions of the buildings.
The outer space and the paths are connected with the urban context (a public green area of the adjacent intervention) through ramps, pedestrian accesses and covered walkways.
