CHURCH YOUTH CENTER IN MONTEROTONDO
The project aims at redesigning the end of the slope on which the site is located, and to redefine the inner spaces quality of the existing parish buildings. The building thus emerges as a linear element slightly looking out from one side towards the vineyard below, while the other side opens to the public space inside. It also consists of a set of box-volumes covered with wood, included between the two horizontal strips made with white cement that constitute the base and the top of the building, opened towards the view of the surrounding landscape. The functional program is divided into two levels: a basement that collects the functions related to sports activities, and the ground floor where the educational and dining activities are located.
