SOUTH BERGAMO HIGHWAY
The project involves the construction of environmental mitigation works aimed at improving the landscape of the new portion of highway under construction in the province of Bergamo.
The planned works are concentrated between the junction of two roundabouts, and are articulated both in the construction site and in the implementation phase.
The planned interventions for the mitigation of the site area have developed specifically with the aim of reducing the acoustic impact and spreading of dust. The project is therefore embodied in the identification of linear dunes of containment, designed as terrain modeling and as a fundamental element for the restoration of the typologies caught by the infrastructure.
The planting of poplar tree rows in order to integrate the work with the road environment is also envisaged. The treatment of the roundabouts as they were landworks, and the finishing of the exposed face of the supporting and containment walls of the road axis add new qualitative values to the project.
